In this role the individual will manage the complete HR function for this location. This individual reports to the Lamb Weston corporate HR Director with matrixed accountability to the local Plant Manager. The Plant HR Manager supervises a staff of HR Generalists and HR Specialists and is the key plant resource responsible for helping the plant team recruit, retain, develop, and keep full engagement of all people. This role overseas all aspects of the HR function at the plant level. Accountable for direction, management, and financial success of the HR function at the American Falls Plant by establishing and achieving current and long range objectives, plans and policies.Position Responsibilities
Administers the collective bargaining agreement and participates in contract negotiations
Helps develop and administer AAP
Leads development, implementation, and audits of all HR policies and procedures
Manages regulatory compliance, social accountability audits, and leads investigations of complaints involving alleged harassment or discriminations
Manages HR budget and works with plant management to assist in managing people spending, i.e. over-time, headcount control, utilization of temporary workers, worker's compensation, etc.
Leads assessment and planning for internal training and development
Monitors employee attitudes, leads culture assessments and action planning to close the gaps
Provides advice and counsel to plant management team regarding performance management and development of human capitalPosition Qualifications
BS/BA degree required (major in HR preferred)
5-7 years of HR experience with a minimum of 2 years in a management role required
Previous manufacturing/plant experience (24 hour operation facility) preferred
Experience with labor relations preferred
Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentations skills
Knowledge of HRMS and Microsoft Office products
