Manager, Pricing and Allocation

The Manager of IT Pricing/Costing Management performs a critical role in executing defined I&TG financial management practices, including the forecasting/pricing/costing models, principles, guidelines, and methodologies, as well as the use of competitive benchmarking to drive improved IT services, margin and customer price perception. The Pricing/Costing Manager is expected to develop strong working relationships with the Corporate Finance/Procurement team, and promote understandings with various SHC business units, and internal IT functional teams regarding the IT financial management strategy and practices

Qualifications:
Provide thought leadership across I&TG functional areas with respect to IT Pricing/Costing Management and practices
Execute the IT financial management practices, including pricing, costing, forecasting models and methodologies in support of various IT business transformation initiatives; this includes the development and deployment of people, processes, content and tools that are effectively integrated with existing business planning/operation processes that assist IT functional teams in optimizing their financial management results
Support financial sustainability by improving business processes; provide input to department profit and loss (P&L); track budgets; ensure reliability and business continuity; create and maintain collaborative partnerships; and recommend, as well as implement cost reduction strategies
Assist in building IT Service Catalog Pricing structure, Service Level Agreement (SLA) cost allocation and cost controls in order to maximize margin opportunities
Support senior leadership as assigned by gathering and analyzing data; drawing conclusions from data; creating reports and metrics to define and measure performance; providing business-specific information and data to support senior management decisions
Manage group wide roll-up of costs for the purpose of providing clear direction and making change and/or improvement recommendations
Lead as requested and/or assists with the value realization process including the creation of the process
Provide leadership to the execution of the Pricing/Costing strategy and collaborate with IT project and functional owners to move pricing proposals from inception, thru negotiation and ultimately to implementation
Collect common metrics and execute an effective measurement system to assess understanding, buy-in, and execution of pricing/costing strategies and plans
Perform audit practices to review the impact and effectiveness of pricing and costing practices within the assigned group, in order to ensure consistent execution of policies and procedures, as well as to identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement
Provide analytics expertise to identify specific opportunities and work with responsible service groups to execute, i.e., evaluate price sensitivity and potential price changes
Make recommendations on methodologies and plans for ongoing IT pricing and costing validation
Develop thorough understanding on short and long-term IT operation trends and cost implications; make recommendations to update IT Service Catalog pricing structure as needed
Perform Benchmarking researches as requested on IT service industry in pricing and costing practices
Manage assigned group-wide budget and reports
Partner with I&TG functional teams to assess project scopes and have proper cost factors reflected when planning project budgets
