* Working in Northrop Grumman Mission Systems means making a direct contribution to mission projects that keep our homeland safe, expanding the boundaries of possibility and reshaping the world we live in\.The Airborne ISR&T Division has an opportunity for a Manager, Program M1 within the Combat Avionics Systems business unit reporting to the Program Manager, F\-16 Block 60 Programs\. The position will be responsible for managing F\-16 Block 60 sustainment, repair and spares program activities\.Duties include leadership of sustainment operations, customer and supplier interaction, management and pricing of repairs, leadership of program related events and reviews; proposal, financial and programmatic responsibility for sustainment programs; strategy development and continuous improvement\.Candidate will support reporting requirements at the business level\. Manage all phases of programs from inception through completion and including the cost, schedule and technical performance for all program tasks\. Obtain necessary information in advance to make informed decisions in a quick manner to keep program activities moving fast and minimize stops/restarts\. Lead the preparation of proposals, negotiate contracts and contract changes\. Thoroughly review contractual documentation, Statement of Work, specifications to comply with all requirements, clearly mitigate risks and successfully harvest opportunities\. Identify program problems and mitigation/resolutions\. Coordinate sustainment business strategy, proposal work statements, price estimating/coordination, operating budgets and contract terms with all functional organizations and suppliers\. Establish staffing plans, performance milestones and long range strategic plans\. Seek and recruit functional personnel to assemble/retain a high performance team\. Monitor and manage adherence to contract schedules and earned value metrics\. Accurately predict and meet monthly, quarterly and yearly Acquisition, Sales, Margin and Cash commitments\. Direct the work of a diverse team of employees assigned to the program from multi\-disciplined functional areas\. Interface with internal/external suppliers at multiple locations\. Travel domestically and internationally as needed\.Candidate must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to retain and build collaborative relationships with internal functional organizations, suppliers, customers\.Basic Qualifications:
+ Minimum 4 years of related work experience+ Bachelor Degree in related field+ Experience in industrial, operations, manufacturing, and/or test engineering+ Experience in building strong collaborative customer/supplier relationships+ Experience leading and inspiring high performance teams+ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point & Project+ Excellent problem solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Prefer candidate meets some of the following attributes:
+ Certified Program Manager \(PMI\)+ Proficiency in Northrop Grumman SAP, OHS, GOLD systems+ Proficiency in Northrop Grumman procurement processes+ Working knowledge of NISPOM Security practices \(DD254s, RALs, controls\)+ Experience with Capital justifications and management+ Experience working effectively across Northrop Grumman sites+ Experience processing proposals from inception through approval+ Experience with Logistics \- FRACAS, MTBF, Provisioning+ Experience with lay\-in material predictions and justifications+ Experience with Operational, Intermediate, & Depot Level maintenance+ Experience with Earned Value Management System+ Strong business accounting knowledge and math skillsNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
