* Establish and implement QA methodology for information system development
* Manage quality assurance personnel
* Perform Risk Assessments, actively communicating risks to management
* Develop comprehensive test plans for software development projects
* Test result analysis and reporting (defects/issues)
* Evaluate and recommend testing tools purchases/techniques to management
Create manual and automated test scripts/cases
* Execute system test plans
Perform system, regression and acceptance testing
* CSQA/CSQTE, ISTQB and other certifications a plus.
Exceptional interpersonal/team building skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and participate on multi-functional teams.
Thorough understanding of quality assurance as it relates to software development life cycles including the ability to present QA concepts to groups (subordinates, peers, management).
Extensive experience managing test projects - planning through execution.
Experience creating and implementing manual test scripts.
Ability to act as a subject matter expert on multiple business systems
Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective.
Ability to interact effectively with IT and business individuals/teams at all organizational levels.
Experience using automated test tools/software.
Experience with SQL and relational database concepts.
Experience implementing Quality Assurance best practices in an organization from scratch.
High-level knowledge of Client/Server, Mainframe, and Web environments and testing concepts specific to each application.
Possess strong time-management, analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills
