Position Expectations

Position Summary

The Manager coordinates both tactical and strategic pricing decisions for all JetBlue markets. The Manager works under the guidance of the Director, Revenue Management in developing and executing strategic and technical objectives. In addition, the Manager mentors and directs the day-to-day activities of the Pricing analysts.

Essential Responsibilities

*

Coordinate, execute and analyze JetBlue s strategic pricing policies
*

Oversee the filing of fares and pricing rules into ATPCO
*

Implement productivity and efficiency enhancements between Pricing and Inventory teams
*

Work with the Revenue Management Managers to coordinate tactical and structural fare changes to maximize revenues
*

Work with internal JetBlue teams to deploy interline and off-tariff strategies, fares and rules
*

Work with IT and technology Business Partners on new development and issue resolution
*

Serve as the primary liaison with pricing Business Partners to ensure product quality
*

Manage, mentor and guide the pricing team as it grows within the Revenue Management Department
*

Lead the development of all newly hired Crewmembers and recurrent training for the Revenue Management Department
*

Assists with the new Crewmember selection process
*

Engage in other ad hoc projects and analysis as appropriate

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

*

Bachelor s Degree
*

Four (4) years revenue management experience
*

Two (2) years pricing experience
*

One (1) year of direct management and leadership experience
*

Pass a ten (10) year background check (may include credit check) and pre-employment drug test
*

Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

*

Master s Degree
*

Five (5) years of pricing and/or revenue management experience
*

Two (2)years of direct management and leadership experience
*

Experience with Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO)
*

Experience with Sabre AirVision Fares Manager
*

Knowledge of airline industry trends and travel technology

Crewmember Expectations:

*

Regular attendance and punctuality
*

Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
*

Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
*

When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
*

Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
