Adobe is looking for a Software Development Manager to work on one of Adobe's cutting edge new technology offerings - Data Visualizations. This position provides you with the opportunity to solve intriguing customer problems with data visualizations. The challenge is to create something which is intuitive, useful, and visually appealing. Adobe's online analytics platform processes 14 Billion transactions on a daily basis so easy to use visualizations are critical to getting marketers data quickly. This Development manager will significantly contribute to the direction & strategy of our visual analysis & optimization throughout our digital marketing product suite. This position is based in our Orem, UT offices within the Omniture Business Unit of Adobe. Responsibilities
- Gather visualization requirements from multiple sources and create a comprehensive strategy for analyzing digital data.
- This is a key differentiator from other development shops - we expect our engineering team to build the right things at the right time.
- It is up to you to figure out how to create the best visualizations for our customers.
- Leverage our autonomous environment to innovate - defining new areas for optimization and improvement - and executing on those ideas for the business.
- Manage and develop a team of software engineers creating data visualizations.
- Facilitate the data visualization initiatives for other product engineering teams.Requirements
- Both technical & business/domain expertise with data visualizations.
- Demonstrated success managing & leading software development teams.
- Extensive past experience in software development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of how to take requirements from multiple sources and create a new feature.
- Must be detail-oriented and very self-motivated.
- Willing to work in a highly competitive environment.
