POSITION: Manager, Supply Chain and Operations Planning

LOCATION: Snellville Georgia Area (northeast Atlanta)
SALARY: $100-120K

DEGREE: Required-

EXPERIENCE: 6+ Years Experience

Manager, Supply Chain and Operations Planning is responsible for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for the division as well as for the Master Scheduling Planning. This includes sales forecast coordination across all global regions, monitoring factory and field finished good inventory levels, working closely with factory managers to plan production and shipment schedules that meet company sales and financial objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interacts and communicates with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and others as appropriate to incorporate relevant business intelligence and forecast information.

Coordinates all logistical arrangements of the S&OP process (maintains the meeting schedule, assigns action items, guides the team to reach decisions).

Performs monthly forecast reviews with each of the global regional sales leaders.

Analyzes key data to provide guidance and recommendations to management to help achieve production and sales goals. Reviews historical sales trends, researches demand drivers, and develops forecast models to support the SIOP process.

Works closely with the Director to communicate demand levels and coordinate inventory strategies.

Supervises the facilities master scheduler and provides guidance to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the scheduling process.

Runs regular reports to provide key business metrics and information to appropriate users.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

BA/BS degree required. Academic major in business, marketing, management, supply chain, or computer science preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Six or more years of experience in a sales, supply chain, demand planning, master scheduling, or related analyst role required.

Understand and drive forecast and planning

Influence others and lead demand, planning, and scheduling. possibly plant person who can work in a corporate environment.

KNOWLEDGES:

Strong experience with software tools such as Excel, ERP, and/or Access required. Proficiency in statistics, forecasting, and planning skills required, along with a good, basic business acumen.

Good interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills to lead and influence a team of others that are not direct reports.
