Job Description

Principal Responsibilities:
* Manage full life-cycle recruiting from requisitions to on boarding, including crafting offers and negotiating additional perquisite benefits as needed (e.g., relocation, sign on bonus).
* Source, identify and recruit potential candidates for various positions and skill sets across multiple disciplines (e.g., Product Management, IT, Staff functions) utilizing various sources, including on-line and social networking.
* Plan corporate staffing goals; organize and oversee daily operation and activities of area.
* Act a lead on special recruiting events such as staffing new locations, campus recruiting for interns/trainees, etc.
* Develop and implement sourcing strategies resulting in diverse candidates slates.
* Support mobility initiatives by identifying and managing internal candidates for postings and transfer opportunities.
* Benchmark best practices for talent acquisition.
* Develop and analyze reports to track departmental metrics such as cost per hire, time to fill, turnover.
* Cultivate candidate relationships and sell the benefits of working for DTCC, both personally and professionally, while recruiting, screening, testing, and interviewing applicants.
* Develop hiring strategies with HR business partners and line managers; build rapport with agencies, search firms, college placement offices, and other candidate sources.
* Prepare budgets; review and approve bills incurred as part of recruiting expense; analyze monthly variance reports as it relates to hiring expenses in terms of actual vs. budget
* Serve as administrator of application tracking system.
* Conduct pre-hire testing and prepare candidate documentation for data entry prior to start of employment.

Experience:

5 - 7 years of corporate and/or staffing agency recruiting experience with a heavy emphasis on utilization of various internet and on-line tools to attract employees and experience with benchmarking and metrics.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
* Proven track record of generating candidates, including use of web-based, and social/industry networking.
* Prior experience using applicant tracking systems (e.g., Taleo); experience with PeopleSoft recruitment tools strongly preferred.
* Working knowledge of employment and right-to-work laws and regulations (e.g., EEO, ADA and visa laws).
* Able to work with tight deadlines and demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing recruitment assignments.
* Excellent planning, decision-making, communication and presentation skills.
* Strong analytical skills in developing and tracking recruiting metrics.
* Excellent PC skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently on special projects.

Education, Training &/or Certification:

College degree preferred or equivalent experience
