SMARTSOURCE, INC. is looking for a Manager, Technical Sales Engineer for the HP Product line. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Salary Range: $90k-100k base plus a monthly variable comp of $2,750.00
SmartSource is looking for a highly talented, detail-oriented and motivated individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for consulting and advising customers and end-users, up to a technical and business management level; design and configure appropriate complex technical solutions for customers and train customers on a broad range of product lines.
. Manage a team of Technical Sales Engineers supporting HP's Server Storage, and Software business.
. Consult and advise customers and end-users, up to a technical and business management level.
. Design and configure appropriate complex technical solutions for customers.
. Train customers on a broad range of product lines.
. Demonstrate appropriate capabilities in a broad range of product lines.
. Respected communication with various constituencies, both internal and external.
. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 7+ years of related industry experience OR equivalent.
. Management experience preferred.
. Previous experience working the HP product line.
. Proven technical scope and competency and experience knowledge of and competency with pre-sales technical tools.
. Demonstrated strong communications skills with both internal and external customers.
. Must have a solid understanding of the business and finance implications of IT solutions.
. PE experience is essential
. Breadth of experience is necessary (software, storage, servers)
. HPE Software experience is very beneficial
. The inclination and ability to search out information and resolution are critical.
. Small team leadership is helpful, though people skills and a concern for others are mandatory.
. Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills required as well as excellent communication skills, both oral and written
