This candidate will Direct and Develop Logistics
Activities to ensure timely shipment of products,
internationally and domestically, as well as manage
internal and external warehousing activities, employee
development, training, and transportation negotiations.
Current duties include working primarily with Heidelberg
USA, and participation in projects with Heidelberg
Germany, Mexico and Canada as needed. This job includes
managing logistics and rigging activities to meet
customer on-time shipping demands and multi-location 3PL
network of service providers for all Heidelberg
equipment, parts, and consumables. Candidate will
collaborate with internal and external customers and
experts to integrate logistics with business systems or
processes, such as customer sales, customer
satisfaction, order management, accounting or warehouse
and distribution. A component of this role includes
creating policies and procedures for logistics
activities that continually improve service and reduce
bottom line costs.
3 to 5 years of related work experience required
