The Manager of Strategic Sourcing Property Operations will manage and support the Supply Management team that develops, negotiates and implements strategic sourcing programs with suppliers of products and services, securing competitive, negotiated pricing and top quality on behalf of the Americas regions hotels and corporate locations. The Team Member will also be responsible for supporting the Supply Management Global Business Services department via eCommerce, reporting and database management systems and all other Supply Management disciplines. What will I be doing? The Manager of Strategic Sourcing Property Operations will manage, support, develop, and implement strategies for strategic sourcing programs across the Print, Premiums and Marketing business segments in the Americas region, evaluating efforts to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the entire organization. The Team Member will manage the strategic planning, development, and coordination of sourcing Print, Premiums and Marketing activities to advance Company goals, while effectively communicating key messages to internal and external stakeholders. Other key priorities are listed below: * Manage and support contractual negotiations and contract administration for all programs * Pursue innovative ways to continuously improve the Americas Print, Premiums and Marketing spend * Facilitate the consolidation and procurement of products and services to realize economies of scale through reduced product and acquisition costs across the Americas region * Evaluate and identify business opportunities for Americas Print, Premiums and Marketing sourcing and communicate with key stakeholders accordingly * Support the strategic planning and coordination of Supply Management to advance Company global initiatives and goals, while communicating key messages to all internal and external stakeholders * Support and coordinate long term goals for the Supply Management that become the basis for short term goals and annual operational planning * Support development strategies to meet the appropriate objectives for the Americas Print, Premiums and Marketing team and how those objectives are going to be implemented and accomplished * Manage interactions with International colleagues in the coordination, bidding, development, and implementation of global sourcing programs to support enterprise business requirements * Work with Hilton Luxury, Full Service and Focus Service Brand teams, Brand Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure the overall strategic direction of the Supply Management team is consistent with and supported by all these areas * Work with key stakeholders, hotels, operating disciplines, and brand management, structuring the resources and activities of Supply Management so objectives are accomplished across all operating modules * Manage the grouping and assignment of tasks, to ensure that all stakeholders are supported * Support the streamlining of business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the department, and across the global enterprise * Manage the cross-functional links between hotels, operating disciplines and brand management for all Americas Print, Premiums, and Marketing initiatives * Implement, analyze, and measure key performance indicators to ensure effectiveness, usage, and awareness * Manage and support the development and administration of Supply Management Americas Property Operations Sourcing module * Provide direction and directives to departmental Team Members in the performance of their duties, establishing work priorities and in achieving management objectives * Influence the division, departments and individual Team Members to accomplish the organization's mission, goals and objectives through motivation, communication, group dynamics and leadership * Conduct effective management of third party partners, identify distribution, manufacturer, and contract service provider supplier networks, as well as negotiate and monitor the quality and cost of services * Leverage effective partnerships with hotels, key suppliers, constituents, and other operating disciplines, and brand management * Provide direction and leadership to Team Members within the Supply Management Americas Property Operations module * Support the development of current talent to achieve greater strategic goals and performance * Support the Supervisor in determining staffing needs, recruiting, selecting, hiring, training and developing of department Team Members * Work with direct reports on goals to assist in accomplishing department initiatives, and their own career objectives * Ensure direct reports have developed and are measuring against a Personal Development Plan * Support the implementation of proper controls to ensure compliance to brand standards and specifications and ensure that the Americas Property Operations operating benchmarks are achieved * Support the evaluation of technology and systems as they relate to Supply Management's Americas Property Operations strategic objectives * Support the implementation of organizational goals and objectives into performance standards for division, departments and individual positions * Assess actual performance against standards to determine whether the department is on target to reach its goals and take corrective actions as necessary * Ensure the business plan and goals are being followed and achieved, providing feedback or revising the plan, if needed * Establish and enforce policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the Company * Support departmental budget development * Review and make appropriate adjustments in activities and expenses throughout the fiscal year to ensure optimal financial results * Responsible for all duties assigned by the Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing Property Operations and Energy Management * Responsible for special projects with Consultants * Cultivate and manage relationships throughout the enterprise globally * Work on special projects for
