JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Our client, a well-established, financially stable medical device manufacturing company, located near Sunderland, Vermont is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to add to its growing team focused on design.
Responsible for providing engineering support from concept to prototyping, clinical evaluation, phase in and ramp up of new products. Generating creative solutions, working with the engineering and manufacturing organizations at all levels to drive operations efficiently, economically and effectively. Developing product and process specifications, material specifications and incoming specifications in support of new product introductions. Ensuring continued compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations as well as UL, FDA, and ISO 9002 requirements.
Must have strong problem solving, project management and quality improvement skills, as well as the ability to work with mathematical concepts (e.g., probability, statistical interference, plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry).
Bachelor's degree in Electrical (preferred), Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required and a minimum of five years of experience in a medical-device manufacturing environment is required.
