Goodrich Aerostructures is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support our growing needs in the GTF and Supply Chain programs. This is a highly interactive position that requires the individual to develop and sustain strong working relationships with management, engineers, buyers and various other employees across numerous organizations. Responsibilities include the following:

Serve as a liaison between the GTF Program VS and Supply Chain Management VS on the procurement of nacelle components.

Support buyer with any technical inquiries on the GTF Programs

Assist in Statement Of Work preparation for GTF Request For Quote packages.

Assist in managing Supply Chain performance visuals.

Provide technical/engineering support to the team and attend GTF Wall Walks (daily).

Assist Buyers in sourcing of nacelle components from a variety of manufacturers, domestic and internationally.

Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of cost, schedule and quality.

Develop and execute cost targets for procured components.

Demonstrate an overall knowledge of common aerospace manufacturing technologies & processes.

Demonstrate professionalism, job ownership, accountability, commitment, teamwork and ethical behavior.
Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Welding or Aerospace Engineering or Engineering Technology with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Strong writing skills, and the ability to develop SOW (Statement of Work)

Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications. (Must have experience with interpreting Engineering Models, Specification Models)

Experience in aerospace manufacturing a plus

Must be able to interpret 3-D models, blueprints, specifications and instructions as well as develop aerospace manufacturing processes and tooling philosophies.

Advanced communication skill set (verbal, presentation, written) as well as advanced PC skills.

Required:
US Citizenship or permanent resident.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Project Manager, PowerPoint); computer graphics, model & blueprint reading

Preferred:
B.S. in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Welding or Aerospace Engineering or Engineering Technology.

Lean Product Development Experience.

Working knowledge of CATIA v5 is preferred.
