* Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Sector is seeking a MANUFACTURING ENGINEER to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals\. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL \- where Technology and Teamwork come together\.\.\. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering Team at the Melbourne Aircraft Design Center working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive, pro\-active environment\._Roles and Responsibilities:
_- Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize existing equipment and manufacturing techniques\.- Specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment used to fabricate products\.- Define assembly sequences, manufacturing processes, production procedures, tooling utilization, and systems integration to support product realization\.- Author detailed work instructions for execution of production statement of work- Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan\.- Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and supporting data collection and analysis\.- Assess performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency\.- Investigate cause and initiating corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality\.- Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations\.- Oversee the integration of new aircraft assembly technologies and processes\.Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in a STEM discipline \(Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math\) plus 9 years of related manufacturing or design engineering experience; or Master Degree in a STEM discipline plus 7 years of related experience\.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance and Special Program Access \(SAP\)\.
- Must be familiar with MS Office \(Word, Excel, PowerPoint\)\.
- Must have CAD or CATIAor related CAD software experience\.
- Must have outstanding written and oral communications skills
- Must have Project Management experience
- Must have ERP \(example:
SAP\) experience
- Must have experience reporting project health and performance metrics+ Ability to relay and receive information+ Able to collaborate in a team environment+ Able to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result+ Ability to identify sequence of operations or action to be taken+ Able to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours+ Ability to change physical locations based upon need \(including physical ability to travel\)Preferred Qualifications:

- Current Active Secret Clearance
- Aviation or aerospace industry experience
- Composites Fabrication knowledge or experience
- Tooling Design experience or Tooling Knowledge
- GD&T \(Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing\)
- Aircraft assembly experience
- Manufacturing Engineering Liaison experience
- 3D Modeling Experience
- Paint and Coatings experience
- Systems Integration experience
