Job Description

Measurement Systems is looking for an energetic, Manufacturing Engineer that will direct, coordinate, and manage design and fabrication of Measurement Systems Product Lines to ensure on-time delivery, working within budget, to meet or exceed the customers requirements as stated in agreed specifications and applicable standards. This position is located in our Duncan, Oklahoma plant.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Support the Management Team, providing design and technical expertise to ensure accurate quotations, control expenditures within limitations of project budget

- Develop, evaluate, and improve documentation of manufacturing processes

- Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures for manufacturing environments

- Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancement of quality, cost reduction and throughputs

- Confer with management and vendors, generating specifications to ensure that individual components meet the demands of the agreed specifications and performance within the system and that the system as installed on site performs as required

- Work closely with R&D, creating and maintaining accurate documentation of design concepts, shop orders, and concepts in accordance with quality functions

- Provide support in production department to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems

- Coordinate work with management within various departments and outside vendors

- Support company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, government regulations, and goods manufacturing practices

- Be responsible for the safe keeping and maintenance of the Companys equipment.

- Additional responsibilities as required.

The Manufacturing Engineer will have the following Skills:

- Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing or related field highly desirable
- Training in MTM, MSI Work Measurement Data Development and knowledge of stress analysis and
mechanical apparatus design is a plus
- 5 years of experience working in an oil & gas environment
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- SAP Preferred
- Good Phone Manner
- Excellent Report writing skills
