Position Overview

* Manufacturing Engineer for ECT Group

Job Responsibilities

* Drive baseline manufacturing process improvements to meet tightening customer-specific requirements

* Identify, optimize, and implement process improvements to reduce losses and improve quality

* Develop and implement robust new methods and procedures for new products and transfer to manufacturing

* Assure safe manufacturing process

* Apply materials processing and integration fundamentals to understand product design, process design & material property relationships

* Write technical reports, document work procedures, and communicate confidently to all levels of the business, both by written and verbal means

Minimum Qualifications

* Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills that facilitate achieving desired results and building cohesive teams

* Proven problem-solving approach and skills in manufacturing environment

* Can work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams

* Experience in materials processing, characterization, and integration

* Project Management experience

* Statistical design experience

* Work experience in Chemical Vapor Deposition-Ceramic Engineering/R&D/Engineering/Manufacturing Environment

* 5-10 years experience

* Experience working in a manufacturing environment interacting with plant operators/technicians on a daily basis

Preferred Qualifications

* Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills that facilitate achieving desired results and building cohesive teams

* Proven problem-solving approach and skills in a manufacturing environment.

* Can work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams

* Demonstrated ability to formulate, plan, and conduct development projects with defined objectives and deliverables within budget and on schedule

* Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

* A strong sense of accountability, urgency, and self-direction

* Understanding of:

Computational Fluid Dynamics
Thermal & Structural Modeling & Analysis
Mechanical Design
Reacting Flows Modeling
High Temperature Heat Transfer Design
Chemical Reaction Kinetics

Education Requirements

* BS or MS - Chemical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science
