JOB DESCRIPTIONSuperior is looking for a Manufacturing Technician- Assembler!
Performs a variety of highly complex technical tasks in support of the production needs of the manufacturing engineers. Conducts, maintains and performs repairs on electro-mechanical assemblies/subassemblies. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.
High level troubleshooting and innovative problem solving skills are critical to the success of this position.
Required Skills / Qualifications: H.S. Diploma
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Verify functionality and troubleshoot complex components, assemblies and sub-assemblies to determine root cause, and implement remedies as required.
Assists Manufacturing Engineers in assembly, rework and problem solving with proper documentation and following procedures; occasionally help with fabricating, modifying and testing hardware from schematics, rough sketches, and/or verbal instructions.
Write Engineering Change Orders with direction from engineers
Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above
