Manufacturing Test Engineer

The Test Integration Engineer will be responsible for blade server test and server rack integration test in high volume production processes. As a member of the Server Development team the engineer will develop and support the test automation infrastructure required to manage units under test in the manufacturing process with the goal of ensuring maximum test coverage and maximum process efficiency. The position will also script and support the tests that run directly on servers during manufacturing test . This person may be based in Colorado or San Jose, CA.

Specific responsibilities will include:

-Lead the development and support of the server test process from initial boot to final integration testing

-Develop and implement test automation infrastructure

-Develop test change management processes to track and respond to product hardware and software design changes

-Support test engineers and technicians at the volume manufacturing location

-Develop and maintain test scripts. Update and optimize test content in response to in-process and customer feedback

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science

- 3 years of relevant work experience including experience with at least 2 of the following:: X86 Architecture, automated test development, Firmware and motherboard debug

- Direct experience with Linux or Unix in networked environments

- Programming capabilities in at least 2 of the following: Perl, TCL, Python

Preferred Qualifications

5 years relevant experience in high volume computer system testing
Proven ability to lead manufacturing test development projects
Masters Degree
