Position is responsible to provide Human Resource support to geographic area of stores.

The Market Human Resource Manager (MHRM) provides focused HR planning and execution support for stores in a geographic area. Key areas of accountability are HR compliance, oversight of talent acquisition, talent management, training and development. The position serves as a key business partner to the Market Leaders, Market Softlines, Market Hardlines, Market Operations, Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers.-Partners with Leaders to drive culture transformation and integration into daily work. Acts as a role model and example of living the Cultural Beliefs.
-Drives team performance through development and support of strategies tied to outstanding member service, adherence to quality standards and performance metrics, and fair human resource management practices. Performs a wide variety of human resource related duties while maintaining appropriate diplomacy and confidentiality.
-Supervises Human Resource team members, and provides performance feedback through informal communications, formal reviews, goal setting and coaching.
-Monitors and Audits HR Compliance execution through periodic store visits and by conducting annual on-site reviews. Alerts Market Leader and RHRD when corrective measures are required. Works through action planning process with store management team. Interfaces with internal audit.
-Ensures Talent Acquisition strategies are being properly executed. Aligns with store management team and market recruiters to create focused talent acquisition.
-Provides guidance on unit level Talent Management, leads calibration sessions and ensures management team is utilizing tools for selection and succession process to build bench strength. Partners with store team to identify top performers and developmental opportunities for key roles.
-Executes strategy of HR initiatives related to Training and Development. Identifies HR development opportunities specific to store. Serves as the area advocate for HR related systems (PeopleSoft, Brass ring, Learn Your Way, etc..).
-Partners closely with ASO with associate relations and key investigations.

-Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates.
Job Requirements:
