Omni Frisco Hotel is looking for a Market Research Coordinator to support the pre and post opening sales office of our new hotel. The primary function of the MRC will be to protect, maintain and upkeep all sales systems, controls for rooms and computer files. While ensuring compliance from sales managers when working with Salesforce, Delphi, Group Rooms Control Log and all reports or files.



The Omni Frisco Hotel is located at "The Star" and will be anchored by the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters. Before the opening date of the hotel the "MRC" will office out of AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. After opening the "MRC" will work out of the luxurious Omni property in Frisco, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Maintain the Group Rooms Control Log (GRC).

* Daily logging and distribution of definite and tentative bookings, cancellations, and revaluations. Generate the Weekly Sales Activity Report.

* Preparation and typing of the Advanced Sales Report/Director of Marketing Letter at the end of each month (to be in Corporate Office by the 3rd working day of the month)

* Prepare and distribute monthly forecast.

* Generate 30-60-90 day forecasts as needed by the Director of Marketing and Director of Sales.

* Preparation and typing of Monthly Inventory Growth Analysis.

* Responsible for the Account Coverage Program and it's parameters.

* Maintain a Kill file for Lead information.

* Maintain a Lost Business file.

* Assign leads and accounts fairly to account executives.

* Distribution of Housing Pick-up Reports, Firm Rate Commitment Forms, and convention memoranda from Convention and Visitors Bureau.

* Research, distribute, and log all leads from National Offices, telephone and other sources.

* Maintain Reference Library, association memberships, trade show information, and mailing lists.

* Give group histories to other hotels, and obtain them from the hotel as needed.

* Must have full knowledge of the Sales Administration Manual and ensure that procedures are being followed.

* Aid the Director of Marketing and Director of Sales in monitoring the KRA benchmarks.

* Responsible to maintain monthly recap with reservations to insure GRC blocks are the same as Reservation blocks.

* Attend Weekly Marketing Meetings.

* Attend Weekly Support Staff Meetings.

* Assist Director of Marketing with coordination of special promotion mailings.



QUALIFICATIONS:

* Assist Director of Marketing with coordination of special promotion mailings.

* Assist the office manager and the Director of Marketing in special projects.

* Hotel experience is preferred.

* Expereince using Delphi is preferred but not mandatory.

* Bachelor s Degree in Business or Hospitality Management is preferred.
