JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Will arrange or assist with events/meetings for client visits and/or sales staff events, on or off site to include but not limited to sponsorships, meeting space, customer appreciation events, meals for attendees, etc.
' Supervise trade show events to include track payments or refunds and registration forms for events, booth set-up, booth schedule, etc.
' Performs trade show follow up to assure effectiveness of show, track leads generated by show, timely delivery of literature and samples requested by show attendees
' Track the project and maintain business line marketing calendars.
' Track and process Co-op funds for qualifying customers
' Implements, oversees and tracks quarterly promotions
' Implements 'Ready to Go Promotions' when installers are not supported by national promotion/campaign
' Interacts with customers participating in promotions by site visits to explain promotion and review campaign material
' Educate Sales staff and CSR Team on quarterly promotions to ensure employees are able to effectively answer installer questions regarding promotions
' Works closely with CSR team to ensure customers signage and informational material is up to date and in good condition
' Maintain library/stock of marketing materials to include but not limited to product slicks, brochures, giveaways, labels, etc.
' Works in conjunction with and supports the Commercial Sales assistant in all aspects of the job
' Other duties as assigned
' Minimum three (3) years experience in a marketing (events and promotions) and/or market development role
' Proven knowledge of sales process
' Establish Ability to manage and prioritize a large workload with tight deadlines
' Ability to travel up to 20% with few over nights
' Proven Analytical skills
' Excellent project management skills with good attention to detail
' Excellent telephone skills and computer knowledge with proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office and word processing.
' Proven written and verbal communication skills
' Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, sales staff, and the general public
' Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures
' Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment yet possess the willingness to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision
Skills/Qualifications: strong consumer and product awareness, good organizational and planning skills, good knowledge of marketing techniques, the ability to be a team player, excellent written and verbal communication, the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, good attention to detail and accuracy
