JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Marketing Manager, UChicago Arts & the Logan Center for the Arts, manages and executes UChicago Arts communications efforts by planning, scheduling, writing and disseminating print and electronic marketing materials; developing content strategy; managing multi-media vendors; and evaluating marketing and communications efforts. Responsibilities also include management of UChicago Arts social media channels and databases. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator and Box Office Manager to streamline marketing efforts between the UChicago Arts email database, public event calendars, and social media platforms. This position works with staff of the Logan Center, Arts + Public Life, Richard and Mary L. Gray Center for Arts and Inquiry, and the Arts, Science & Culture Initiative, as well as other partners to build and engage on- and off-campus audiences through social media, email communications, marketing materials, and outreach initiatives. Reporting to the Director of External Relations, the Marketing Manager also works closely with the University of Chicago News Office, UChicago Creative, and Alumni Relations and Development. The Marketing Manager will oversee the UChicago Arts Marketing Coordinator and public relations and outreach student intern.
