The Role:
Marketing Operations is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of operational strategies and processes that enable effective planning, development, achievement, and measurement of Bloomberg?s marketing goals and objectives. These operational strategies include: managing and supporting annual and quarterly marketing planning processes; developing and implementing, in concert with business unit marketers, an effective marketing measurement and metrics framework; and developing a marketing dashboard summarizing marketing investment and program effectiveness (ROI). We are looking for a professional to implement and sustain our marketing metrics and ROI framework, with experience supporting multi-media and new/emerging businesses. As a member of this team you will be responsible for interfacing with central marketing leaders, business heads, and business unit marketing leaders, operations, and finance/accounting. You will be required to be an expert in marketing measurement, ROI models, and technologies that support tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Support for initiating ROI framework within Businesses
- Project manage adoption and adaption stages for multi-media and emerging businesses
- Develop and implement sustaining measurement process and framework
- Ongoing quarterly measurement and dashboard reporting
- Project manage R&D projects arising from Metrics roll-out
- Complete ad hoc analysis

Qualifications:
- 7-10 years experience in marketing, consulting or a combination
- Financial analysis skills
- Consultative approach and style
- Experience in understanding the lead to sales conversion process and measurement of the funnel
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills (including presentations), as well as listening and interpretation skills
- Excellent analysis and problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to be self-directed while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ability to exercise excellent discretion and judgment when dealing with confidential information
- High energy, results oriented with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills
- An undergraduate degree required and advanced degree preferred
