Job Description
Join the fast paced Agilent Genomics team. We discover, develop and market application solutions and biochemistry products that uniquely serve the Clinical Diagnostic and Life Science market. As a member of a high-performance team that develops innovative molecular biology products, you will perform in a leadership role to further advance the success of the Genomics division. The market for Agilent molecular biology consumables continues to enjoy rapid double digit growth, including consumables associated with technology platforms like microarrays target enrichment in next generation sequencing, QPCR, and Microfluidics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of novel, targeted and aggressive product launch strategies and implement launch plans.
- Work with product management teams to develop sales enablement materials (brochures, data sheets, case studies, competitive comparisons, etc.) that effectively position Agilent's Genomics products in competitive landscapes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners from other Agilent groups to promote complete cross business unit product offerings and cross-sell and up-sell programs.
- Work with field sales, field marketing, strategic marketing, and marketing agencies to analyze the market and develop marketing programs and sales campaigns to drive demand generation, product awareness, and market share.
- Develop and implement loyalty programs to maintain customer market share, and drive sales of legacy and lower dollar value products.
- Develop strategies and tactics that drive increased sales through the web channel.
- Work with worldwide field marketing groups to ensure consistent product/marketing messaging and positioning, drive the messaging and programs through all communication channels, and analyze program effectiveness.
- Manage financial budget for all outbound marketing activities.
Qualifications:
- BS in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology; related discipline or equivalent.
- Five+ years experience in outbound marketing of life science products.
- Demonstrated use of marketing skills and market knowledge to commercialize products that result in business success.
- Demonstrate ability to develop marketing plans that align with strategic objectives.
- Ability to work independently to plan, prioritize workload, schedule time, assess and solve problems.
- Must exhibit strategic thinking, teamwork, creativity, planning and organization, and flexibility.
- Experience in working with global markets/customers an advantage.
- Must have flexibility in working hours and available for 25% business travel.
