We are currently looking for a Marketing Specialist for our Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) business unit, located in Chicago.
Position Summary:
The marketing specialist will provide direct marketing, sales, and communication support for AGRC in the U.S. This position will report directly to the AGRC Marketing Manager, U.S.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Support development and execution of AGRC campaigns - industry, product/service, and theme-specific.
* Provide direct support for conferences in which AGRC participates or sponsors, including event management and presentation strategies
* Enhance existing sales and marketing tools that directly support growth efforts
* Assist in the development of marketing and sales collateral - sell sheets, reports, white papers, case studies, articles, etc. - and ensure materials are on brand and up to date
* Support the development and management of key business e-newsletters and interactive tools.
* Maintain and strengthen AGRC brand through publication support and on-line presence
Education, Skills and Experience:
* BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism or Communications.
* Candidates with aptitude in marketing software, CRM, and collaboration software tools such as Salesforce.com, Eloqua, Robohead and Lotus Notes is highly desired.
* The position will require a keen eye for detail with a solid understanding of design and brand standards.
* 3-5 years experience working with design software and desktop publishing applications, with experience in InDesign a plus
* Candidate must be able to work in a team-centric environment.
* Must have strong writing skills and be able to proof and edit - and the ability to write long-form collateral such as brochures and white papers is preferred
* Experience with Sharepoint software is preferred, as the position will be required to maintain and archive publications and computer files for quality, accessibility, and future use
* Basic knowledge of insurance, risk management, and brokerage operations.
