The Role:
The Email Project Manager will work closely with Marketing Program Managers and Marketing Managers across multiple business units to define and execute email marketing communications at Bloomberg LP.

This person will be responsible for planning and execution processes improvement as well as efficiency of the email marketing team. This challenging position requires a skilled technical marketer with experience in building, customizing, deploying, and optimizing complex email campaigns and interactive programs. The qualified applicant also possesses a well-rounded understanding of email and internet marketing campaigns, as well as understanding of databases and list management. This position reports into Marketing Technology team.

Responsibilities:
Email marketing project management-
- Manage email marketing team pipeline, prioritization criteria, and projects focused on improving email planning and deployment processes
- Work with business unit marketers to translate business strategies and requirements into operational requirements, mapping dependencies to other areas of the business

Email marketing best-practices internal consulting-
- Work with business unit marketers to develop and measure key performance indicators, thereby ensuring email campaigns are correctly launched, delivered on-time, accurately tracked, and continually improved upon
- Lead the ongoing evolution of the company's skills and infrastructure surrounding email marketing best practices; provide subject matter expertise on email marketing operations, best practices and regulation, including CAN-SPAM and online privac

Email marketing operations-
- Implement email campaigns with Aprimo Marketing Studio: blueprint campaigns, test email deliverability, execute email campaigns
- Measure and report on email campaign results and compare against baselines and benchmarks

Requirements:
- Expert in email best practices including contact strategies, design, A/B testing, delivery and deliverability issues, segmentation, and analytics/performance management
- Strong project management, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with the ability to work under firm deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Prior experience with ESPs or email campaign management tools (e.g. Aprimo Marketing Studio, Bronto, Eloqua, Omail, YesMail, ExactTarget, Cheetamail, etc.)
- Well-rounded strategist in email marketing with current knowledge of industry best practices, regulation and privacy issues
- General understanding of online advertising metrics, trafficking and reporting and
