JOB DESCRIPTIONMedia are a core part of the HP Printing system and are critical in driving the analog to digital printing transformation. By developing and bringing to market new digitally optimized papers the Web Press Product Manager will help accelerate industry transformation in publishing and packaging. Given this strategic contribution to HP, and the fact that this media business will be managed and distributed by 3rdparty licensees, the Web Press Media Product Manager will need to ensure that the ColorPRO Technology media portfolio continues to provide differentiated 'best in class' performance, that all products meet ColorPRO Technolgoy branding, social, and environmental guidelines, and that ColorPRO Technology branded media products are integrated into relevant GSB printing systems along with integrated go to market plans. The Web Press Media Product Manager will serve as the single point of contact between HP's media licensing partner(s) and the various business units within GSB.* Responsibilities:
*-Drive business case development for new ColorPRO Technology programs and as a key member of the ColorPRO Technology project team drive marketing execution per HP's Licensing Development Process (LDP)
-Drive the product roadmap process providing input to licensing partner(s) on installed printer usage and application trends, HP target customer insights, and product portfolio gaps.
-Represent the customer's media needs as part of the GSB NPI printer development team
-Develop marketing integration plans with licensing partner(s) and GSB H/W teams and spearhead implementation with Regional liaisons during GSB printer NPI programs.o Collateralo Worldwide eventso Worldwide trainingo Worldwide communications
-Develop product integration plans with licensing partner(s) and GSB hardware teams and spearhead implementation with R&D teams during GSB printer NPI programs.o Prioritized media setso Creation and implementation of optimized settings and profiles
-Drive awareness for HP's program for media and ensure HP and ColorPRO Technology programs are executed in conformance. Provide expert input to GSB on certification programs.
-Establish, maintain, and enforce performance standards for HP and/or ColorPRO Technology branded products.
-Ensure licensee collateral meets HP and/or ColorPRO Technology branding guidelines and provide review and approvals as needed.
-Manage and resolve product escalations* Qualifications:
*-University degree, preferably in Business/Marketing
-5?10 years minimum of relevant work experience
-Proven track record of building relationships and completing objectives on/ahead of time
-Strong network of contacts within the paper/packaging industry
-Technical knowledge of paper and corrugate manufacturing a plus
-Ability to leverage network of contacts to breakthrough barriers and resolve issues
-Sales and Revenue growth oriented
-Marketing program management experience
-Relationship management skills
-Organization/Project management skills
