Job Advertised by Pharmadiversity Job Board - Watson Pharmaceuticals, a well respected and fast growing specialty pharmaceutical company is looking for a Master Data Administrator, in the Parsippany, NJ office. This position will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, deletion and inactivation of all customer data that resides in the Customer Master file. Maintains and updates all license changes, deletions and additions as well as verifies all DEA and State License information. Primary responsibilities will be to support departments with changes, additions, deletions and inactivation of accounts.Ensures correct approvals are received based on department requesting. Performs investigations and release of orders pending due to SOMS violations or license reviews. Maintains and audits documents requesting the creation of, or changes to a record. Maintains and audits Customer Master Records for data formatting and accuracy. Ensures correct approvals are received for all requests based on department requesting. Creates and maintains indirect customers supporting CARS membership for the Contracts department. Runs monthly reports to manage data including account activity, Preferred/Non-Preferred, Dating requirements, Backorder limits, etc. Reconciles all retired, invalid, expired and revoked licenses. Extracts exception reports. Validates and reconciles records, performs analysis of data and makes changes accordingly. Manages applicable communication between the customer and the Company. Acts as a liaison, subject matter expert and contact point for customers. Runs reports as requested by other internal departments. Creates, reviews and updates current operational procedures as applicable. Collaborates with Call Center Relations Super Users and Managers to complete training process.Candidates will have a knowledge of b usiness, and personal computer hardware and software applications including SAP,CARS/IS, Microsoft Excel, Access and Lotus Notes. Drug Enforcement Agency and State License requirements and Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA) law for purchasing over-the-counter/prescription drugs/controlled substances by healthcare entities. Data collection and analysis procedures and computational methods.Generic and brand pharmaceutical products and industry, as they pertain to the functions of the call center. Skill in implementing goals, objectives and practices for effective, efficient and cost effective management of allocated resources. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with individuals contacted in the course of work. Adhering to DEA regulations and Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations. Organizational skills and time management. Analyzing and interpreting reports, compliance requirements, regulations, contracts and data. Writing and presenting reports, proposals and contracts to management, internal and external customers.
