JOB DESCRIPTIONMASTER DATA SPECIALIST
Immediate opening for a dynamic individual with
proven capability as a Master Data Specialist for our EHS Division located at company's Advanced Technology Center. Essential responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for entering and maintaining data in accordance with established standards in support of the Product Safety & Compliance team, including PEHS-required material master data and pure subs.
Links SAP materials to relevant PEHS specification.
Executes standard rules for regulatory compliance, hazard
communication, and dangerous goods as assigned.
Prepares draft Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in support of the Product
Safety Communication Team.
Provides first level support for resolution of assigned system checks
activities which include: Automated warning messages for SVT checks, Reported DG blocks and SDS Distribution errors (CVD1)
Escalates issues as needed to the Master Data Advisor
Provides functional support of planned system upgrades and changes, including user acceptance testing (UAT) as assigned.
Completes quartlerly OCC data loads as assigned.
Links pure subs with list subs.
Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned bysupervisor.
Assists other employees in accomplishment of company goals.
Participates in and completes company-required training programs.
Participates in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives as set
forth by the company.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Bachelor's degree inScience / Engineering with 3+ years of
Advanced Degree with 0-3 years experience
At least 3 years of experience in the PEHS domain (Regulatory
Compliance, General Product Stewardship Support, Hazard
Communication, Toxicology, Risk Assessment)
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of SAP-EHS systems or databases
Excellent IT skills
Good communication skills, fluency in English essential
