JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Role Purpose
This position is the lead for planning activities of the St. Louis Program office, supporting the functions of Operations and Supply Chain. These activities include production and load planning, master scheduling, and forecast development in support of customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory.
This position also deploys and mentors management tools/metrics with the cognizant business unit to monitor and report progress from contract award to final delivery to the customer. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Master Schedule in ERP system by coordinating with Operations, Customer Demand and Supply Chain.
Facilitates the interface between Business Development and Operations
Develop, mentor and train Schedulers and ERP Analysts in the tools and techniques of Capacity/Material Planning
Develop inventory forecasting models from ERP planning, intake, build plan and sales forecasts.
Lead effort to deploy Standardized tools and metrics (Single Priority System)
Complies with Government regulations and the company s Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action policies.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
BS in engineering, science or business. Advanced degree in business or engineering desirable. Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 10 years applicable manufacturing planning experience.
Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning and demand processes
Proficient use of ERP systems
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities
Strong team leadership skills with direct reports and ability to communicate and facilitate across functional lines
