Role Purpose

The Master Scheduler will create, update, and manage complex scheduling tools for strategic projects and report project performance to the project team utilizing executive summaries. This role will develop and track EVM/CPI/SPI measures, monitor performance to plan, and analyze schedules to reports key performance indicators and progress to the project team and program leadership. Key Responsibilities

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

*

Creates, tracks, reports and interprets earned value management tools including CPI and SPI.
*

Assesses impact of changes in the plan and communicates any issues in a proactive manner to ensure the team remain on track to the project deliverables.
*

Develops executive summaries and presentations to provide updates and communication on project performance for both internal and external (customer) reviews.
*

Analyzes plan for critical path and provides feedback and path forward to stay on target.
*

Effectively communicates with team members and team leadership on schedule issues and performance.
*

Interfaces with program managers to update actual performance and to develop and publish periodically communication tools to share goals with teams.
*

Supports what if scenario planning to assess impact of alternate options on schedule.

Domestic Travel: 33% Qualifications / Experience / Skills

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

*

3+ years project management experience using earned value management (EVM).
*

1+ years master schedule management experience.
*

1+ years experience utilizing MS Project.
*

US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*

4 year degree preferred.
*

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate project plan with team members, some located remotely, and receive updates to maintain the project schedule.
*

Experience with Milestones Professional software.
*

Experience with transformational projects in a manufacturing environment or complex launch projects.
*

Strong analytical skills to assess critical path, project progress, and potential impacts on overall project schedule.
*

Ability to handle deadlines and manage time effectively to meet the deadlines.
