JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler to join our growing organization. The Master Scheduler is responsible for managing and maintaining a balanced production schedule to given capacities and inventory levels while meeting production timelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

*

Review open orders report on a daily basis for new customer demand.
*

Develop and report metrics for productivity, including on time work order completion and other activities as necessary
*

Develop daily workload for production including generating work orders for work centers.
*

Ensure production schedule aligns with capacity at each work center to achieve optimal material flow.
*

Prepare and distribute daily build schedules for all work centers.
*

Work closely with purchasing and quality on product requirements and receiving schedules.
*

Work with Planning/Sales Operations team to ensure production schedule aligns with expected ship date and fill rate target of 100%.
*

Hands on management of any expedited order through to shipment.
*

Work closely with Production Manager to ensure required resources are available.
*

Communicate lead time for production related activities back to Planning/Sales Operations team as needs and resources fluctuate.
*

Attend weekly coordination meetings with Sales Operations team.
*

Be a primary contact for the Sales Operations and Service groups.
*

Support quality, purchasing and supply management with tracking of product non-conformances, rework activities, and quality control processes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

*

5+ years work experience, preferably in a machine shop or manufacturing facility
*

Previous production Experience working with CNC, Lathes, Laser equipment either as a Lead/supervisor role with proven and documented success.
*

Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement
*

Tier 1 ERP Experience a must
*

Ability to work within and experience with MRP and Shop floor Control Systems
*

Oracle Experience a plus
*

Proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, advanced Excel a plus)
*

Local candidates preferred.
*
