Description:
Are you looking for an opportunity to develop clinical
skills in a supportive and welcoming environment? Arbour
Counseling Services would be your employer of choice! We
are looking for YOU!
We are seeking Master s level clinicians to provide
outpatient mental health services in our West Yarmouth
Clinic. Hours are can be very flexible; you can create
your own schedule with day and evening hours. This is a
per diem position to start but has the potential of
becoming full time / part time benefit eligible.
Our dedicated clinicians deliver direct services to
clients, and may provide individual or family/couples
services at our outpatient center; participates in
interdisciplinary treatment planning; and ensures that
any treatments delivered are within the scope of the
therapist s training, experience and general level of
competence.
We provide a wide variety of treatment options and
continuum of services within Arbour Counseling Services
and the entire Arbour Health System. Your duties will
vary but may include:
* Assesses client s or family s needs and eligibility
for services
* Provides individual, couples and family therapy in
accordance with assigned client needs
* Provides therapy to clients in accordance with
applicable credentials
* Maintains family contact regarding client
adjustments
* Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning
* Develops and maintains client case records, notes,
plans and reports
* Establishes and maintains effective working
relationships within the agency, community and
referral sources.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
* Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related
Program from an accredited college or University.
* Independent level of licensure is preferred, but
LMHC supervision hours are available if licensure
eligible.
* Ability to communicate effectively with
professionals and clients/families
* Ability to make accurate assessments and provide
appropriate treatment
