Essential Functions

Performs all storeroom and production coordinating functions with a minimum of supervision, referring to the supervisor for guidance or decision only on new or unusual problems, after a complete investigation of the problem and exhaustion of all delegated authority.Coordinates OPR changes with supervision. Keeps supervision informed on scheduling problems which might contribute to a production holdup. Provides tools, fixtures and gages for OPR supplier when required.Responsible for movement of parts from one operation or department to the next. Ensures all parts are handled in proper container and placed in the proper location within a department for use at the next operation.Where discrepancies are discovered, route parts to proper operations and/or department for necessary action.Contacts designated process personnel to secure necessary changes in tooling or processing.Works with Contract Administrators and Quality Engineers to support the CRG process.(Reference CRG standard work instructions).Counts & bags the proper amount of parts to produce the required number of assemblies, as required.Receives all parts to be stored. Fills requisitions for replacement parts and fill shippers for spare parts. Must be familiar with issue, receipt, and stock record documents and have a general understanding of the procedures for keeping records up to date. Must have sufficient knowledge and ability to operate the stock room without constant supervision. Typing or data entry experience required.
