JOB DESCRIPTIONSeeking individual with Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or similar and 5+ years supply chain and inventory experience in a formal "lean" environment such as an automotive supplier to oversees the materials management - MP&L function maximizing scheduling and delivery of forgings, castings & stamped units to OEM and Tier customers.
*** Interfacing with customer and suppliers to ensure coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence.
*** Identifying needs and receiving direction on real-time staffing increases and decreases.
*** Managing schedule adherence notifying and escalating as warranted.
*** Proctively isolating potential problems and risks, troubleshoots, escalates issues appropriately, and participates in post-mortem analysis of problems to develop future solutions .
*** Monitoring performance metrics to targets and implementing corrective measures.
*** Promoting a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency.
