JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Progressive, privately held entrepreneurial company seeks high energy, proactive, strategic materials manager to oversee and improve the supply chain team and its processes and improve Just-in-Time to inventory for a rapidly growing and changing manufacturer of automotive parts.
*** Experience in two or more of the following business models: High volume repetitive manufacturing, Contract manufacturing, Distribution and or Service.
*** Proven track record in material planning, material flow and control, and production conversion.
*** Practical experience, training and possibly certification in formal Lean Tools, Continuous Improvement methods, Kaizen, Kanban, etc.
*** APICS training.
*** Great people skills.
