The selected candidate will be responsible for the timely performance of various manufacturing/production control tasks ranging from procurement planning through shipment of deliverables in support of NASA and DoD Programs. Applicants must exhibit a high degree of initiative and use sound judgment in carrying out assigned work. It is essential the individual be capable of adapting to changing conditions and work cooperatively in a team environment. Specific responsibilities include:
*Planning, prioritizing and processing purchase order requisition packages
*Inventory analysis and maintenance of program shortages
*Acquisition and compilation of processing documentation and equipment
*Estimating/scheduling fabrication and production task sequences, durations and required resources
*Ensuring proper hardwared configuration via Engineering change evaluation and incorporation
*Interfacing with work cell supervision on production schedule status and task execution
*Expediting resolution of scheduling and resource conflicts to maintain production schedules
*Generating Bills of Materials (BOM) in support of program proposal as-required
In addition to stated educational requirements, applicants should have experience in production planning/control and JDE/SAP usage, with exposure to MRP system(s) and lean manufacturing principles and practices. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office are necessary.

EDUCATION BS/BA degree in Engineering or Business preferred; AS/AA degreerequired
