This position has high visibility and reports to the Senior VP of Operations and is responsible for establishing and modifying production schedules to maximize output, ensuring finished good availability to meet shipping schedules. The perfect candidate will also be able to develop a material requirement plan to follow the flow of materials and components from order through receipt, production, inspection, and shipping. br br RESPONSIBILITIES /span br ul
li Analyze sales releases and forecasts by part number and based on plant capacities, develop a reasonable planning tool that satisfactorily assigns products to plants based on capacity and inventory optimization /li li Be able to develop tools that allow for systematic, repeatable capacity planning analysis /li li Analyze real plant equipment capacities and layouts to ensure future sales forecasts and budget volumes are supported. Be able to make recommendations on product moves and/or equipment purchases to resolve capacity issues. /li li Manage and modify as needed the capacity planning tool to include updating equipment capacities, updating OEE and quality data, and running analysis to optimize both EBITDA and plant loading /li li Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering. /li li Monitors master production schedule (MPS) to ensure customer demands are met. /li li Coordinate machine openings for special requests, molding tryouts and assembly PPAPs. /li li Support and track design changes until first shipment to customer. /li li Monitor and adjust past dues on daily volumes. /li li Support and track inventory issues to resolve errors. /li /ul

li Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Production Operations Management, or related discipline. /li li 5+ years of manufacturing operations, engineering and product launch experience. /li li Complex assembly process development experience is strongly preferred. /li li ISO / TS16949 Quality Management experience (APQP/PPAP) /li li ASQ / AME Lean Manufacturing /li li Global or multi-national business experience strongly preferred. /li li 25 – 30% domestic and international travel to customer sites/plants (up to 40% the first 12 - 18 months) /li /ul
