Mechanical Engineer

- Ideal candidate would have 5 yrs + experience specifically with generators and components of power generation, rotors, exciters, large rotating apparatus. Co is not a manufacturer per say, but a service manufacturer.- Strong understanding of electrical equipment and electrical knowledge- FEA Analysis experience/knowledge a MUST (they are using Ansys but would consider others)- Ability to design in 3-D (Solidworks)- Must be very well-rounded and willing to wear a lot of hats, interpret data, on the shop floor assisting with QA, strong report writing abilities are critical, will be involved with installation, component replacement, hands-on.- Will have to communicate on a daily basis with other offices in UK and Germany. Must be a team player.- Position will require 10-15% travel, typically domestic (east to west coast and Alaska) on rare occasion an international trip might surface.
