OVERVIEW:

The Director, Analytics serves as the leader, within the Digital Media Insights practice, for a team of analytic professionals that support multiple clients. The position is focused on providing analytics expertise to both internal and external clients, leading and managing the Digital Media Insights team, reviewing and driving overall digital insights, analysis and reporting, financial management of assigned team and associated clients, and ensuring excellence in delivering digital insights and analysis.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Oversees client analytics strategy and planning for a Fortune 50 client

Leads client analytic strategy sessions across bought (SEM, Display), earned (SEO, Social) and owned (website) media and supports team in presentation of large scale client initiatives

Acts as a representative in the market place through presentations and publication

Will act as a Subject matter expert in either insights generation, or web analytics

Negotiates agreements with 3rd party analytic providers

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

10+ years experience in field of digital analytics, previously in a management role

Experience working specifically in an analytics focused role

Experience in working in both direct response and brand driven media environments

Expertise working with web analytics systems (e.g., Omniture - Site Catalyst GoogleAnalytics), media management systems (DART, Kenshoo, Marin)

Proven presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex analytic concepts to marketing oriented audiences

Experience with agency financial principals

Knowledge of relational database concepts

Understanding of basic statistics

Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and with general Web based interfaces

Experience working with BI systems (e.g., Cognos, Business Objects, Microsoft SSRS, Tableau)

Experience working with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS)

Management lead in a multi-team environment

Passion for digital marketing and answering the question "Why "

Detail oriented and organized

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, Advanced degree a plus
