As a Media Specialist you will be responsible for Supporting the development, implementation and updating of the customer's digital marketing initiatives, including but not limited to websites, ecommerce, apps, eblasts, social media, and PowerPoint presentations. Responsibilities for this Media Specialist job include:
. Website and Ecommerce Content: Responsible for updating and maintaining content on corporate websites and ecommerce sites using a CMS. Works with cross-functional international and domestic team members, utilizing collaborative input to develop content schedules, ensure appropriate handling of content, and build visual consistency and brand awareness. Responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information including but not limited to educational courses and product information. Follows global branding guidelines and develops web-optimized imagery using Adobe Photoshop.
. Responsible for updating and maintaining corporate imagery and product descriptions. Removes discontinued products and outdated material.
. Responsible for content placement on the internal resource hub and zone app. Works with marketing and sales teams to ensure appropriate handling of material, including updating current content and removing outdated material.
. Email Marketing Campaigns: Responsible for preparing, scheduling and delivering bulk electronic emails. Maintains and updates corporate email lists. Works with domestic and international groups to build / maintain subscriber list.
. Apps: Responsible for updating content on customer-facing apps. Develops optimized graphics that maintain visual consistency. Works with marketing and sales teams to ensure appropriate handling of material, including updating current content and removing outdated material. Interfaces with third party app developers.
. Image Support: Responsible for simple image editing (changing color modes, resizing, rotating pictures) for different media applications (websites, ecommerce, social media, eblasts, PowerPoint, etc.). Responsible for fulfilling electronic media requests from company and affiliate personnel, as well as customers. Maintains current, applicable support visuals for critical initiatives.
. Presentation Development: Designs and develops a wide range of company presentations using PowerPoint, including educational programs and symposia, product presentations and internal programs.
. Social Media: Responsible for maintaining corporate social media sites. Works with team members to develop content and create posts. Conducts periodic reviews for customer comments and feedback.
High School Diploma or GED and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
In addition MUST also have basic knowledge of HTML and ADOBE DREAMWEAVER, have experience with a backend CMS such as WordPress, and be proficient in the following programs on a PC platform: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, Adobe Acrobat Professional. Familiar with ecommerce platforms and online merchandizing/purchasing. Excellent communication skills required. Experience with email campaigns and SEO a plus. Experience with WebSphere platform a plus.
Shift: Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm
Duration of postion: 6 months
Pay range $25-$30 depending on experience
