Facility: Hunterdon Physician Practices at Flemington
Department: Phillips Barber Family Health Center (Lambertville)

This Physician Practice is located in Lambertville NJ
To provide the healthcare team with medical assistant services required to maintain a high level of patient care in an efficient and safe environment. Provides and documents accurate vital signs, heights and weights, pain level, and when appropriate temperatures, health history and risk factors. Reviews schedules prior to beginning shift to facilitate patient flow. Anticipates and prepares for needed equipment, supplies instruments and forms for examinations and/or procedures. Manages patient flow. Informs receptionist and/or patients if there will be an extended delay in their scheduled appointment. Cross-train as a Patient Service Representative.
To qualify, you must have a High School diploma. Must have current Medical Assistant certification, or be qualified to sit for certification exam and pass within 6 months of hire. Medical Assisting including venipuncture and office experience and/or competency attained through on-the-job experience is preferred. Full-time Days/Evenings & Weekends Related course work is required Certification Required Experience is preferred
