This well-established, profitable organization has enjoyed double-digit annual revenue growth for the past four years. Although smaller than their multinational competitors, their R&D teams are extremely innovative and their products offer significant clinical advantages over existing therapies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Product Manager will have the opportunity to plan and execute marketing strategies for a line of innovative medical devices. The role consists of roughly 70% strategic planning, working with Key Opinion Leaders, sales leadership and R&D to create a roadmap for the future product offerings and target markets. You will plan and execute the launch of new products and manage the product lifecycle of in-line brands to which you've been assigned. Specific duties include developing annual and long-term strategic plans, assessing competitive strengths and weaknesses, segmentation, positioning, branding, and supporting the sales team.
This is a broadly defined assignment where you will be asked to "wear many hats" and your responsibilities may vary greatly from day to day. In addition to developing the strategic plan for your assigned products, you will also work closely with cross functional team members from Sales, R overnight travel is estimated at 25%.
The successful candidate will have:
* 3+ years of HQ based marketing experience in the implantable Medical Device industry
* Evidence of strategic marketing and successful product launch experience
* Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior colleagues
* Bachelor's degree or better; MBA or advanced engineering/life sciences degree preferred
