Facility: Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare at Carson City
Department: Carson Tahoe Urgent Care, Operated by CTPC
SUMMARY:
This position provides clerical support to facilitate the efficient and smooth operation of the clinic. Answers incoming phone lines, greets patients, obtains and verifies demographic and insurance information, posts payments and issues receipts, balances daily cash receipts. Responsible for checking patient s in/out, scheduling appointments, entry of CPT procedure codes and ICD-0 diagnosis codes.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Previous experience working in a medical environment highly desired.
