We are currently searching for Mental Health Specialist
II to join our established team. The primary
responsibilities of this position will be to provide
direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders,
ensuring the safety and well being of patients and
supporting the maintenance of therapeutic milieu. This
person should have experience and special training in
various areas of mental health service delivery (i.e.
group therapy, milieu management, diagnostic based
training, grief and loss, etc.)
Requirements:
A Bachelor s degree in Psychology or related field or
the
equivalent of 4 years education and experience is
strongly
preffered. Experience as a care provider in a healthcare
or child/adolescent educational setting is preferred.
The ideal
candidate must have good verbal and written
communication skills,
legible handwriting, and the ability to maintain
information as
highly confidential. Familiarity with medical and
psychological
terminology is preferred.
