RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Department Description:

It povides care for at-risk, seriously and emotionally disturbed children and adolescents

Work schedule: evening and weekend hours.

Job Description:

This position is set aside for those who are scheduled to take the exam to become a Licensed Master's Social Worker.

Provides direct social work services including assessment and treatment planning, supportive counseling and supportive therapy, advocacy and psychoeducation, and linkage to community agencies and services, as required.

Education: Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related degree required. NYS Driver's Licence preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Experience: Minimum one year of social work experience in a mental health or social service setting required.
