Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or equivalent experience required. 8+ years of relevant IT/messaging experience required. Extensive and proven experience with Microsoft Exchange 2013/2016 design implementation and integration with Unified Messaging solutions such as Microsoft Lync or CISCO Unified Communications and Mobile Device Management solutions such as AirWatch. Advanced knowledge of end to end mail flow email hygiene (AV/AS) SMTP TLS Outlook and troubleshooting email flow issues. Experience with email gateways and security appliances such as Cisco IronPort and FireEye. Proficiency with IIS DNS SMTP LDAP and network load balancers from F5 and Kemp. Experience with SSL certificates and encrypted/signed email technologies. Extensive and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory architecture Group Policy and PowerShell scripting. In-depth understanding and experience with virtualization technologies like VMware ESX. Experience with network attached storage or iSCSI SAN technologies from Network Appliance Nimble Dell/EqualLogic or other leading storage vendors. Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS Azure and Office 365 desired. Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery implementations processes and documentation. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Microsoft Professional Certifications highly recommended. Ability to define and communicate what needs to be done and successfully drive it to completion. Able to recognize troubleshoot and resolve system problems with little supervision Excellent interpersonal organizational oral and written communication skills and a positive goal oriented attitude desired. Off-hour/on-call support is necessary. A certain degree of flexibility of schedule is required as some work (planned/unplanned) must be done outside of major production hours during pre-scheduled maintenance windows.Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Architect implement manage and document a Microsoft Exchange email infrastructure along with all other corporate messaging and mobile solutions integrated systems such as Microsoft Lync or CISCO Unified Communications as they relate to current and future business needs. Recommend and plan for future growth of messaging systems taking into consideration capacity planning monitoring Disaster Recovery and business continuity. Design and deploy specialized automation tools PowerShell scripts and processes for administration and performance monitoring of messaging systems Maintain systems security and integrity concerning data and computing resources and take corrective actions as necessary in compliance with company and industry standards and best practices. Develop and maintain compliance documentation and architectural diagrams for use in the installation configuration operation and maintenance of hardware operating systems and related messaging infrastructure. Provide proactive and reactive third level support to customers and IT Staff on issues relating to messaging client/server infrastructure and interoperability with other systems. Analyze the risks benefits and opportunities associated with a proposed design or solution.
