Job Description
We are looking for a savvy and energetic professional for the role of Manager, Account Planning to use their exceptional quantitative and analytic abilities to develop sales and retail account forecasts, inform assortment and pricing decisions, and help manage top line and bottom line growth. You will gain invaluable experience in this role which offers significant responsibility and interaction with senior management as well as considerable opportunity to be a major contributor within the larger Paramount Home Media Distribution organization.
This individual must be able to develop professional relationships with various Home Media Distribution departments, analyze and decipher operational & financial data to accurately assess and review each line of business performance related to our retail partners. He/she must be able to identify problems and develop innovative solutions to further efforts toward continuous process improvements. In addition, he/she must be well organized, detail oriented and able to perform a variety of tasks under time pressure and strict deadlines.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
*Work with marketing, sales, operations and finance teams to develop sales forecasts based on marketing inputs, historic sales data and new business/merchandise insights
*Create top-down/bottom-up sales and account plans at the sub-category and price-point level, for specific lines of business and categories
*Develop strategies and manage product lifecycle sales and profitability
*Work with various teams to set pricing and promotions, shipping and return policies
*Analyze performance to identify areas of risk and opportunity, and create plans to mitigate or accelerate
*Design and develop new reporting and dashboards to support better forecasting, planning, and performance measurement
*Perform research and variance analysis for management presentations
*Manage re-engineering projects on a task and ad-hoc basis
Basic qualifications:
*4-6 years of sales planning & management, retail analysis, and/or financial planning experience
*Bachelor level degree in business, finance, economics or mathematics
*Outstanding Excel & PowerPoint skills (top 10%)

*Enthusiasm and aptitude for working in a fast-paced, collaborative corporate environment but with a start up mentality: highly self-directed, results-oriented and able to work at both strategic and tactical levels
