Plexus is searching for a talented Planning Manager to join the Neenah Operations team!



The Planning function is crucial to drive collaboration across the overall Plexus value stream. The ability to co-ordinate and direct resources based upon the customer demand requirements is critical in achieving Customer Service Excellence whilst controlling Plexus Inventory levels and potential exposure.



Key Job Accountabilities:



1 Provide Functional Management to direct reports, providing support and leadership

2 Responsible for the competence, training and development of the Planning team.

3 Ensure the functional team adheres to SOP and Work Instructions.

4 Provide Leadership in all Demand Management and Planning related processes.

5 Ultimately responsible for ensuring a feasible Mater Production Schedule exists.

6 Facilitate collaborative processes with key functional teams (i.e. Materials, Production, Program Management, Finance) that drive master production scheduling (MPS) definition

Additional Accountabilities & Job Functions:



1 Drive ERP system and data integrity

2 Monitor Revenue shipment against Plan, identifying gaps and drive resolution

3 Participate in the monthly forecast process, ensuring alignment of operational capability

4 Feedback on team performance and conduct annual performance reviews

5 Consolidate escalations and coordinate operational prioritization for optimal output

6 Familiarity with contractual service levels

7 Drive culture of continuous improvement throughout the team

8 Ensure the Site maintains Capacity Resource Planning tool.

9 Responsible for key performance indicators such as MPS performance, Days of Inventory, Material Overdrive, and On-time shipments.

10 Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 5-10%)

11 Additional duties as assigned by manager



Education/Experience



* A minimum of a(n) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required for this position; a(n) Bachelor's degree is preferred.

* Experience of 3 year(s) is required for this position, assuming education requirements are met. Equivalent industry experience of 1 or more years is highly desirable.

* APICS or equivalent certification is preferred

Skills/Abilities



* Extensive working knowledge of Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) and demand planning systems

* Strong Microsoft (MS) Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel



* Excellent communication skills

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills

* Detail oriented

* Courageous and able to work with minimal direction

* Able to work in dynamic environment and across functional groups



Qualifications
