Job Description

· Manage Walmart and Samâ??s Club Vendor Managed pricing systems ­ Design and implement strategies to continue to improve vendor managed pricing process­ Program new reports using database tools · Manage a team of pricing coordinators ­ Ensure pricing is executed accurately on a weekly / monthly basis­ Develop pricing team to conduct more advanced analytics · Develop scorecards and tools to proactively improve acquisition cost and manage margin ­ Develop tools / scorecards to track and improve % of volume purchased at an EDLC / EDLP level ­ Ensure WMT and Samâ??s Club are getting the best cost everyday · Build analytic models using WMT and Nielsen / syndicated insights, data tools that will ensure WMT understands their market position relative to the competition ­ Leverage multiple data sources in order to build tools to deliver strategic insights to Walmart and Samâ??s Club · Lead all pricing / margin initiatives for Walmart and Samâ??s Club Team ­ Support HQ and field based team on pricing initiatives­ Collaborate with MillerCoors HQ Pricing Team on pricing strategies / price changes ­ Educate team and distributors Education level and/or experienceBachelorâ??s degree required; MBA suggested 5-10 years related experience Skills and/or knowledgeProficient with standard software packages (MS Office suite) Advanced excel modeling skillsTechnical skills; ability to program reports using database serversProficient with Retail Link and similar toolsDemonstrated aptitude for developing expertise in new analytical tools and modelsProblem Solving: Uses a disciplined process to define problems, identify root causes, evaluate data from a variety of sources, recognize patterns, generate alternative solutions, identify potential unintended consequences, and recommend the best solution.Results: Track record of exceeding goals and a bottom-line orientation; evidence of the ability to consistently take accountability and make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment.Action Oriented: Enjoys working hard and looks for challenges.
